Cambridge Achievement Awards

Cambridge Academic Achievers 2016 (click to view)
Out of 27 schools who are achieving awards for excellence in Cambridge Examinations for 2016, Girls' College is ranked number 3 in the number of awards being received. We are number the ONE girls only school and the best in Matabeleland.

Congratulations to the following ladies for making us proud once again:

Nicola Bourdillon for being top in Zimbabwe for English Language in the AS June examinations;
Masoom Desai for being top in Zimbabwe for Business Studies in the I.G.C.S.E. November examinations;
Thembekile Moyo for being the highest achiever for Child Development in the I.G.C.S.E. November examinations and;
Mandisa Ndhlukula for being top in Zimbabwe for I.C.T. in the AS November examinations.

We also congratulate Catrina Kaufman for being top in Zimbabwe for Geography in the AS June examinations and a high achiever for AL German in the November examinations. Congratulations also go to Amina Homann for being a high achiever for the German Language in the November examinations.




Gemma Canter

We are very proud of Gemma Canter who won the Blignaut Shield for the biggest barbel caught by a junior girl at the Bumper Barbel.



Finals Gala

The Girls' College Swimming Team won the Cathy Forgarty Cup for the individual section. Girls' College last won it in 2002.

The Water Polo teams will be competing in the Mermaids Water Polo competition in Harare

The Chess Teams will be taking part in the St. Johns Chess Tournament in Harare

Tennis
