Hockey - Girls' College Versus Arundel High School

On Saturday 7 May 2016 four Girls' College hockey teams, the U14s, U15s, U16s and our 1st Team, played against their counterparts from Arundel High School, visiting from Harare, at Bulawayo's Khumalo Hockey Stadium.  Matches started at approximately 8:00am with the U14s and U15s playing simultaneously on two pitches, followed by the U16s and 1st Team matches.

Arundel High School's U14s, U15s and U16s, unfortunately, proved to be the better teams on the day by winning their matches.  However, Arundel High School's and Girls' College's 1st Teams proved equal to one another and ground out a draw in a spirited, hard fought match.  The three goals scored by Girls' College are shared between U16 player Silethubuhle Nkala and 1st Team player Gugu Ndlovu.

The full results can be viewed in the table below along with a mini-gallery of photos from the U15 and 1st Team matches. Enjoy!
