Girls' College Hosting AFDA Film School

Girls' College will be hosting, from South Africa, the AFDA Film School on Wednesday 7 September 2016 for a presentation. Interested students are welcome to attend.

Important Notice For All Lower And Upper Six Academic Parents

Please find attached a downloadable slip for the parents of all Lower and Upper Six academic students.

If you plan to send your daughter(s) to a South African university and wish for Cambridge CIE to send your daughter's results directly to Universities South Africa to help with processing her Matric Exemption, then please download this slip, print it out, have your daughter(s) fill it in and deliver or have it delivered to Mr. Rugoyi at Girls' College by Thursday 4 August 2016.

Basketball Results For 23 July & 25 June

Over the last weekend, the Girls' College 1st Team basketball travelled to Harare to participate in their season ending Top Schools Basketball Tournament at Chisipite School. The full results can be viewed in the table below.

On Saturday 25 June our U14 basketball team competed in the Girls' College Basketball Tournament and we are proud to report that they finished 2nd. Certificates were awarded to all the team members:

Girls' College Interact Club 'Winter Warmer Walk'

The Girls' College Interact Club have organised a charitable event, the 'Winter Warmer Walk', to take place at Girls' College on Sunday 31st July 2016.  Tickets, at the low cost of US$2, will be available at the gates to our sports field from where the walk will start.  All proceeds from this fun event, for all ages, will go towards 2 very worthwhile causes, the Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage and Vukuzenzele Pre-school.  Please come and support our Interact Club, Chipangali and Vukuzenzele and have fun doing so.

Date: Sunday 31 July 2016

Hockey Results For 28 June & 1 July

On Tuesday 28 June & Friday 1 July 2016, Girls' College hockey teams played against Petra High and Kyle College respectively.  For the matches against Kyle College the junior teams played at Girls' College while the 1st Team played at the Khumalo Hockey Stadium.
